Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Department of Veterans' Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) located in San Juan, Puerto Rico intends to award a bridge contract to Clinical Medical Services for the period of: Date of award (April 1, 2010-expected date) through September 30, 2010, until the VISN has in place a multi-award contract for these services and supplies. This contract (Home Oxygen Supply and Ancillary Services) will provide supplies, equipment rental, and ancillary services at the home of the eligible veterans in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. These services will require at minimum eight (8) respiratory therapists and vehicles/transportation to service veterans in Puerto Rico (including Vieques and Culebra); and the US Virgin Islands. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed bridge contract is based on the urgency of having these supplies and services in place by April 1, 2010 for the benefit of our veterans. Interested parties may submit their technical capability, but will be used solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS for this bridge contract is 532291 with a size standard of $7.0M. No solicitation document is available. Interested parties may request a copy of the Statement of Work until March 29, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. (Eastern-Puerto Rico time) prior to the closing date of this notice.
