- This announcement is for informational purposes only. The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis to Infinadyne, 600 W. Ray Rd, Suite D-1, Chandler, AZ 85225, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for Unlocked CD/DVD Inspector 4.0 licenses and maintenance. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-30. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 423430. A quote is being solicited under Solicitation No. E010239. This will be a fixed price contract. CD/DVD Inspector is an essential tool in the Computer Analysis Response Team Forensic Examiners Toolbox and is the primary forensic tool utilized to process CD's and DVD's submitted as evidence. Based on FBI market research, it has been determined that Infinadyne is the only source available to meet the FBI's requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. If any interested party would like to be considered for award, please submit a written statement indicating your interest as well as a brief corporate capability that supports legal rights and unique technical qualifications and experience to fulfill this requirement by close of business (3:00 pm) on March 24, 2010 to Abigail Marr, Contracting Officer, at abigail.marr@ic.fbi.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
