- Recovery Action: DUNS 142762843: As part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act), the Department of Energy (DOE), Oak Ridge Office (ORO), has issued a task order against existing Environmental Management (EM) Nationwide Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts to perform EM scope on the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) site. DOE-ORO requires the services of a contractor to perform demolition and disposal (D&D) of: (1) 11 facilities and structures totaling approximately 35,800 square feet (ft2) at ORNL (9 radiological facilities and 2 standard industrial facilities); and (2) 23 facilities located in the ORNL Central Campus totaling approximately 80,100 ft2 (9 radiological facilities and 14 standard industrial facilities.) • General Maintenance Facilities Complex (GMFC) - 16 facilities totaling approximately 55,400 ft2 and • Southeast Contaminated Lab Complex (SCLC) - 7 facilities totaling approximately 24,700 ft2 Work also includes the removal of material from 5 facilities located within the Central Campus of ORNL's Bethel Valley area and removal of 6 Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators (RTGs) located outside of Building 3517 in preparation for demolition. Rationale for using other than a fixed price and/or competitive award: This was a competitive award.
