- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Accellos, Inc., 90 S. Cascade Avenue, Suite 1200; Colorado Springs, CO 80903, for Radio Beacon WMS-Enterprise Edition Software Maintenance. This software is proprietary and as such Accellos Inc. has an exclusive right and does not authorize resellers or other entities to maintain the Radio Beacon software. The product is used by the Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA) and the Office of Supply and Warehouse Management (OSWM). The Radio Beacon Software currently licenses 154 users. The system is critical in providing the forms, publications, supplies and logistics activities for Social Security Administration. Type of maintenance needed is Gold Support, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST for updates, upgrades, patches and fixes that are already in place. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If SSA does not identify any other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, SSA may issue a sole source award to Accellos, Inc. under the authority of FAR Part 13.106(b)(1). The government will not pay for any information submitted and responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via email to Valerie.N.King@ssa.gov no later than March 24, 2010 at 5:00 pm EST.
