Description
Military Sealift Fleet Support Command will be conducting a general ship repair on the USNS GRASP (T-ARS 51), commencing on 15 April 2010. To be awarded to a qualified marine ship repair contractor able to accomplish the work items briefly listed below. Contractor must rely on work items description/measurements and ships drawings. 1.2.2 All fasteners and materials used on work items located on the weather deck must be made of CRES materials. 1.2.3 Do to intermediate down time of the CHT system, Two (2) Port-a-Poty shall be located on the fantail for 30 days for contractors and / or crew to use. (WI 505, 5.7) 1.3 All Tech Manuals and / or drawings are located onboard ship, and / or the Port engineer.
