- CXT specs Schedule of Items Davis Bacon Wage Rates Scope of Work *RECOVERY* ***** THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY ***** ***** PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE ***** The USDA - Forest Service intends to award a Firm Fixed price Contract for the following project: This project involves pre-construction, demolition, and reconstruction at a toilet site located at the Pocket Day Use Group Picnic Shelter Area. A detailed description of requirements is included in the attached statement of work. (1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This announcement is the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (2) This solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). (3) Applicable clauses and provisions are attached. (4) The offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (June 2009), with its quote or complete the Representations and Certifications on line at http://orca.bpn.gov. (5) This solicitation is issued under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and all requirements of the Act apply including the requirement to register and report at www.federalreporting.gov. (6) This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237990, and the small business size standard is $33.5M. To be eligible for award, registration in the Centralized Contractor Registration Database is mandatory. (7) Period of Performance shall be for a total contract time of 90 days. (8) This solicitation is being issued under Davis Bacon Wage Rates. The applicable rates are attached. (9) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Evaluation factors are attached. (10) A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for 12 April 2010, 1000 EST at the Pocket Recreation Area, located on the Conasauga District of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, in the northeast corner of Floyd County. To get to the Pocket, take Georgia east from LaFayette, Georgia for 13.5 miles;.5 mile east of Villanow, turn right (south) on Georgia 156 and proceed about 7 miles. Take the second entrance, Forest Service Road 106, and go to the end of the road, which is the parking lot for the Group Picnic Area. Meet at the day use/picnic shelter parking area. (11) Questions regarding this solicitation must be received no later than 1600 EST 19 April 2010. Answers will be provided no later than 1600 EST 21 April 2010. (12) Quotes should be submitted using the Schedule of Items (SOI) form attached, and must be valid for thirty (30) days after due date. Any amendment(s) issued to this RFP will be published on this website. Therefore, it is the Offeror’s responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. (13) Quote/Offers are due on or before 1600 EST 30 April 2010. Late quotes/offers will not be considered. Quotes/offers received after date set for receipt of quotes will be rejected.
