- Description
- This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract for a Multiple Leg Sling, NSN: 1730-01-087-9665RN, applicable to standardized Air Force equipment. The sling provides a means of lowering, lifting and supporting the A-10 aircraft. This sling is of four legged wire rope design and includes a sling spreader. This requirement will be set-aside 100% for small business. It will consist of a basic quantity of 1 each, 4 options with a quantity of 1 to 2 each, and tech data (a proof load test certificate must be shipped with each item). Options may be exercised for Air Force (AF) or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements. Delivery is 210 days ARO contract. Place of delivery for basic: Fort Smith, AR. Place of delivery for Options: Various locations. Place of performance: Contractor's facility. Drawings will be made available on line when the RFP is posted. This procurement will use the Past Performance Information Retrieval System-Statistical Reporting (PPIRS-SR) in the evaluation of past performance. Offerors are encouraged to review their data to ensure accuracy. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 3 April 2010. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov only. All questions regarding the RFQ and/or the data packages must be submitted in writing to Kyle.Hering@robins.af.mil with copy to Kathryn.Canady@robins.af.mil.
