- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Small Boat Product Line has a requirement for various Yanmar American Corporation parts. These parts are used on various U.S Coast Guard platforms which include, but are not limited to, the USCG MKII 23’ OTH boat, USCG MKIII 23’ OTH boat, USCG 17’ CBM boat, and the USCG 23’ SRP boat. All parts shall be new. It is the Government’s belief that only Yanmar American Corporation, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and/or their authorized distributors, can furnish the required parts and ensure the proper form, fit and function of all its components. Therefore it is the Government’s intent to solicit only Yanmar American Corporation and/or their authorized distributors. Offerors having the expertise and capabilities to furnish the required parts are invited to submit complete information within 15 calendar days from the day information must include this notice is posted. Information submitted must include: (1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e., salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics) and/or (2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the information relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract.
