- The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to search for qualified vendors capable of meeting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Enterprise Development requirement for the acquisition of a subscription for maintenance and support of HEALIA Search Engine. HEALIA is the premier health search engine that provides high quality, trusted and personalized health information via the My HealtheVet web portal. Searching for health information is much more complex and dependent on individual needs than searching for other types of information. HEALIA is optimized for health search by integrating cutting-edge technology including health "intelligence" to provide the best results for health queries. This market research is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Any contract that might be awarded based on information received or derived from this market research will be the outcome of the competitive process. Responses are requested no later than close of business on April 1, 2010.
