- The intention of this solicitation is to obtain rental and services of portable toilets for the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, The Marine Corps Air Station, Laurel Bay and The Naval Hospital, Beaufort, S.C., by means of a combination firm fixed-price and indefinite quantity contract. The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, management, tools, labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide portable toilets and services in accordance with the requirements specified. The work shall be performed at various locations and could vary from location to location. The following is an example of the dispersion of work at the various locations.Under the Fixed Price portion of this contract, the Contractor shall provide and service 158 portable toilets at MCRD, 30 portable toilets at MCAS/LB and 3 at the Naval Hospital on a full time basis. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable proposal based on the evaluation factors in the solicitation,Factor 1 - Corporate Experience, Factor 2 - Past Performance,Factor 3-Technical Approach. The contract shall be for a Base + four option periods. The Site Visit and Pre-proposal conference is scheduled for March 31,2010 at 9 a.m. building 852 conference room, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Site visits after this date shall be based upon availability of Government personnel.
