- TYN Sources Sought Number - 03182010 This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified and interested sources. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for contract award. When/if a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the Federal Business Opportunities website and all interested parties shall obtain the solicitation from this website. 325 Contracting Squadron (325 CONS) at Tyndall AFB, FL is seeking potential sources to install Low Observable (LO) Paint Booths and perform building infrastructure repair(s) as needed to install the LO Paint Booths. This requirement is in support of 325th Maintenance Group (325 MXG). Work will take place in Building 280, Hangar Four, 530 Flightline Road, Tyndall AFB FL. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and all other necessary items to install contractor-furnished paint booth inside building 280. Provide a fully operational environmentally controlled aerospace paint spray booth insert, complete with tool and breathing air. Deliver and set-up/install the paint booth for spray painting F-22A aircraft. The basic contract is anticipated as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Performance period is anticipated at no more than 12 months after award. 325 CONS is requesting all interested and qualified firms respond to this sources sought notice with the following information: (1) name, address, phone, fax, e-mail and website if applicable; (2) a list of similar contracts (not to exceed 5) your firm currently holds or has completed within the last three years; (3) any/all small business classifications. The list of relevant contracts should include the location, contract number, description, estimated yearly value, performance dates, and Government point(s) of contact (contracting officer and QAE/inspector) with phone and fax numbers. Please limit your response to 3 pages. Potential offerors should submit this information to Ms. Mary Helen Dent and Mr. Donald Sumner at mary.dent@tyndall.af.mil and donald.sumber@tyndall.af.mil or mailed to 325th Contracting Squadron, Attn: Mary Helen Dent, 501 Illinois Ave, Ste 5, Tyndall AFB, FL 32403-5526, by 4 pm CST on 2 APR 10. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. If a resulting solicitation is posted, the solicitation package and any amendments will only be available electronically to FedBizOpps. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed. If a solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the interested parties to review the website for updates/amendments. The closing date for submission of offers will be contained within the solicitation package. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 and 252.232-7009 in order to receive award.
