- Description
- The 5th Contracting Squadron requires the upgrade of existing lighting fixtures to T-8 lighting in eight (8) facilities on Minot AFB, ND. The work is 10% General and 90% Electrical. The statement of magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance period is 120 days. Liquidated damages will be assessed for late performance. A one (1) year warranty of construction is required. The complete package will be made available only through the Internet. The address is http://www.fbo.gov. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from the Internet. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on the Internet. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from the Internet to update the files. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is: 238210; the small business size standard is $14,000,000.00 in average annual receipts for the past three (3) years. This project will be solicited full and open for competition, with the intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract based on the lowest price technically acceptable. FAR 52.219-4, Notice of price evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns is included in this solicitation. Solicitation will be made available electronically on http://www.fbo.gov on or about 5 April 2010, with an anticipated closing date on or about 5 May 2010.
