- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. Solicitation will be available on/about April 5, 2010. Veterans Integrated Network 21, Consolidated Contracting will be issuing a Request for Proposal to remove, replace, and upgrade the Controls System in Buildings 1D and 12 at the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System located at 1000 Locust St., Reno, NV. Scope of work includes removal and replacement of existing pneumatic and DDC controls serving Building 1D with new DDC controls and evaluate existing B12 Building Management System for functionality; connect existing DDC controls into new hardware/software package at boiler plant. At this point in the procurement process the Department of Veterans Affairs is performing market research to determine if the procurement will be set-aside for one of the following socio-economic categories: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hubzone Small Business, or Small Disadvantage Business 8(a). Interested firms should send, by E-mail only, their current socio-economic category and DUNS Number. Information shall be sent to joseph.mulstay@va.gov by close of business March 31, 2010. Estimated construction cost is $500,000 - $1,000,000. Information received will be used in any set aside determination.
