- Description
- This synopsis is to establish new Roofing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract at Hurlburt Field, FL. This acquisition will result in a one (1) year base contract period and four (4) one-year option periods. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price IDIQ type contract. The work covered by this Roofing IDIQ contract consists of, but not limited to, roof construction and repairs on various buildings at Hurlburt Field, FL. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, supervision, and other items necessary to perform work under the contract specifications and associated task orders. Statements of Work shall be provided in individual task orders. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City and Pensacola, FL. This competitive acquisition will be offered to the Small Business Administration under the 8(a) Program and restricted to firms located in the North Florida District Area or have a bona fide place of business within the North Florida District Area. Therefore, this acquisition will be set-aside to only certified 8(a) firms located within the geographical area of SBA district office code '0491'. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238160 with a size standard of $14,000,000. This contract will be a ' Performance Price Trade-Off' contract; award will be made based on the 'Best Value' to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.101. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The work is required in support of the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 16 Apr 2010. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. This solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov.
