- This Sources Sought Notice (SS) SP0600-10-R-0225 is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC). The purpose of this SS is to identify qualified Small Businesses [including Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), Woman-owned Small Businesses (WOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUB Zone) Small Businesses, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB] and Large Businesses that are interested and capable of providing for the ground fuels requirement for Defense Energy Support Center (DESC). This SS covers the ground fuels requirement for DESC customers located in Guam/Tinian/Saipan. The total estimated quantity for Guam/Tinian/Saipan is in excess of 5.4 million gallons distributed over 14 line items. The estimated quantities and products procured consist of: Diesel Fuel #2 3,898,000 USG Gasoline, Reg Unleaded (MUR) 1,503,000 USG The deadline for responding to this Source of Sought Notice is March 26, 2010.
