Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Puget Sound Health Care System is seeking an Architect-Engineer (A/E) firm to perform civil land survey services. SF 330 Architect-Engineer Qualifications Applications are invited from engineering and design firms to provide professional civil land survey services. The VA intends to purchase a portion of the Ft Lawton Military Reservation in Seattle from the US Dept of Defense. The purchase will require a civil survey in order to subdivide the existing property and convey the portion known as the FLARC site of Parcel 5 to the Department of Veterans Affairs. The surveyor shall provide all technical services required for the following: Determine the boundary lines for Parcel 5 and the FLARC portion of Parcel 5. Determine the utility easements on Parcel 5 and the FLARC portion of Parcel 5. Prepare map(s) that accurately show boundaries and easements. File Record of Survey with King County. Licensed surveyor is to produce stamped drawings. The A/E contractor must provide all legal documents, maps, and drawings 49 days after A/E contract award. Evaluation and selection will be based on qualifications stated under FBO Numbered Note 24. The selected firm or organization must have significant experience in civil land survey. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the credentials of the firm and assigned staff to support the design scope. Special qualifications and selection of firms will place emphasis on civil land survey capabilities. The applicable NAISC code is 541370. This acquisition for civil land survey services will be a 100% set aside for Veteran Owned Small Businesses. This is not a Request for Proposal. A current SF 330 representing and differentiating between the personnel, experience and capabilities of all involved offices, must be included with the application for each proposed consultant's office involved.
