- RECOVERY - HAEKEL ROAD CULVERT REPLACEMENT - The Bureau of Land Management is soliciting bids to install thirty (30) 24' corrugated metal pipes (CMP's) on Haekel Road. Work is to include pavement removal, install CMP's, excavating and backfilling, pavement repair, and disposal of old culverts located in Graham County, AZ. The work is on Haekel Road between US HWY 70 and Bowie, AZ approximately 10 miles east of Safford, AZ. This roadway is the main access road to the Hot WellDunes Recreation Area. This project is subject to Davis-Bacon wage rates. This project is funded from the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009.
