- THIS IS A CORRECTION TO A PREVIOUS NOTICE SENT ON 3-16-2010 - PLEASE DISREGARD THE PREVIOUS NOTICE IN REGARDS TO THIS SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT SOLE SOURCE The W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center, 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, NC intends to negotiate a sole source commercial item procurement for repair and preventive maintenance of the Siemens AXIOM Aristas X-Ray Equipment at the VA Outpatient Clinic, Charlotte, NC. Contract will be for base period only. This proposed procurement is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than noon, March 19, 2010, local time. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
