- Description: THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, Region 6 has a requirement for the replacement of a failing stream crossing culvert on Quartz Creek Road 2618, milepost 6.91 on the McKenzie River Ranger District of the Willamette National Forest, Lane County, Oregon. The work includes but is not limited to mobilization, construction survey and staking, erosion control and pollution prevention, clearing and grubbing, removal of an existing multiplate culvert, grouted riprap, and asphalt, installation of a new culvert pipe arch, embankment construction, placement of crushed aggregate, riprap and hot asphalt concrete mix, sign installation, and traffic control. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, equipment, materials and supplies required to complete the project on time, within schedule and in compliance with drawings and specifications. The period of performance is 30 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. A negotiated, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated requiring submission of both a technical (questionnaire) and price proposal. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Government. The magnitude of the government estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. Price Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about April 2, 2010. A payment bond (100 percent) will be required after award. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award.
