- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, intends to award a sole source contract pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 to Ashtech, LLC, 451 El Camino Real, Suite 210, Santa Clara, CA 95050 for the purchase of two Proflex 500 GPS Units for the Operations Division, Navigation Management Branch. This is a not a request for proposal and no solicitation is available. All responsible sources may submit a written capability statement to the Contracting Officer which will be considered. Submitted information will be evaluated solely on the basis of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
