- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER: W911XK-09-D-0014, FUTURENET GROUP Contract Award Amount equals $8,399.02 Recovery Funds, and $2,799.68 Non-Recovery Funds. This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved as this is a follow-on order to a competitive initial order (FAR 8.405-6(b)(2) or 16.505(b)(2)(iii). This Project Plan will describe the collection of sediment samples for the purpose characterizing the shoaled material in the Red Run Drain in Oakland County, Michigan. A total of 8 samples will be collected from 8 stations within the shoaled areas in the Red Run Drain. Sampling will be coordinated to avoid spring run off time and high rain events to minimize the water depth in the drain. The depth of the water in the drain at the sampling areas are reported to be less than 2 feet; therefore a boat is not anticipated for the sampling. A drain easement is present along the entire drain length allowing easy access via a vehicle to the sampling locations.
