- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Bag-in-Box/Beverage and Equipment Services for the Federal Correctional Institution, located in Beckley, West Virginia. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contractor shall provide Bag-in-Box Beverage and Equipment Services for the inmate population in a correctional setting for the Food Services Department at FCI Beckley. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the government. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option year are 2,800 five gallon bag-in-box beverage, various flavors which equal 14,000 gallons. The FCI will place orders for products as needed. Product shall be delivery Monday through Friday (except federal holidays), and no later than (10) working days after receipt of an order. Delivery hour are 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Must provide proof of certificate of liability insurance. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 24, 2010, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 424490, with a small business size standard of 100 employees. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The date for receipt of quotations is on/about April 26, 2010; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date quotations are due. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
