- The Marine Corps System Command has a requirement for an Improved Battery System (IBS) for the Tactical and Combat vehicles. The Government plans on purchasing an initial quantity of four (4) batteries, with options of purchasing a maximum of 2000 batteries. It is anticipated that a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released within 30-45 days after posting of this notice.This is a pre-solicitation notice only; do not send proposals at this time.
