- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS)is located in Temple, TX. Currently our system includes the Waco VA Medical Center and the Austin Outpatient Clinic. We are currently seeking quotes for a CLIA/CAP certified laboratory to provided muscle biopsy testing on specimens collected during scheduled surgical procedures on our patient population. The vendor will have the responsibility of picking up and transporting the specimen to their facility to conduct biopsy testing and to provide results of the tests ordered (per CPT code)to the CTVHCS Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Department (P&LM)in a timely fashion. Additional transportation or travel costs will not be paid. Please refer to the formal Request for Quote VA-257-10-RQ-0119_1 for specific schedule of services and statement of work information.
