- J&A - M48A1 GPF Description of Action: This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price, Purchase Order for a Sole Source contract with Hunter Manufacturing Company (HDT) Cage Code 92878. Award is projected for the 1st quarter in Fiscal Year 10 using Army Working Capital Funds (AWCF). An acquisition plan is not required because it does not meet the dollar threshold for an acquisition plan. Description of Supplies/Services: The item is a M48A1 Gas Particulate Filter (GPF), 100-cfm CBRN Filter Canister, for the end use in the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicle. Quantity needed is 3,000 each with an estimated unit price of $800 each. The item?s National Stock Number is 4240-01-363-1311. The proposed contract will not include an option provision. This will result in a total quantity of 3,000 each at a total estimated dollar value of $2,400,000.00.
