- Questions and Answers 1) Do the walls need to primed? Yes, and topcoats shall be applied too, per the SOW, paragraph Architectural #3. 2) Clarify requirement for floor prep. Per the SOW, paragraphs Architectural #1-3, the contractor is required to prep and seal the concrete floor. Prep for the floor finish are the requirements as necessary and specified by the floor sealer product installation instructions. Additionally, floor prep for the vault installation are the vault manufacturer's installation requirements, if any, for installation of the new vault system on the existing concrete floor.
