Description
Wage Determination (3) Wage Determination (2) Wage Determination (1) Solicitation Provide pricing for three scenarios: #1 Provide a quote for barge, excavator (large enough to operate the RockHound 30 EX Model) with operator and boat services for cactus removal on Grand Terre Island. The machine will need to be matted while working on the beach. The cactus will be hauled to the excavator by USDA/APHIS/PPQ personnel. The price is for operating the flail mower and mobilizing and demobilizing the excavator on Grand Terre Island. #2 Provide a quote for barge, excavator (with a reach of 40'-60') with operator and boat services for cactus removal in Cactus Bayou Canal. The Canal has 3'4' of water during the Fall and Winter months and 4'-6' during the Summer months. Please note these depths are estimates only #3 Provide a quote for a weekly rate on a barge, excavator (with a 40'-60' reach) with operator and boat services for cactus removal in Lafourche, Terrebonne, Jefferson and Plaquemines Parishes. No specific area in these Parishes. Different mobilization and demobilization rates can be quoted for each Parish The barge rental will be used to transport removal equipment from the staging area to the removal area. The barge will be use to work off of with the excavator and flail mower. The barge should be 20'-80' in length and 8'-40' in width (able to navigate canals). Excavator The excavator will be used to flail mow cactus off of the barge. The excavator will not be placed on land except when working at Grand Terre Island. Swamp buggies will not be allowed. Excavator should have a reach of 40'-60' and a hydraulic flow of at least 8 GPM (scenario #2 and #3). The excavator for Grand Terre needs to be large enough to operate the flail mower since the cactus will be brought to the machine (scenario #1). The excavator will need to be able to operate a Rock Hound 30 EX Flail Mower. For specifications on the flail mower go to www.Rockhound.com. Push Boat The boat will be used to push barge, excavator, and associated equipment to and from removal sites. Airboats will not be allowed.
