- Description
- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 6.302-1). See posted J&A for further information. INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) has a requirement to procure (1) LM-STAR test system. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, when there is a supply or service available only from one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agencys needs. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis, solicitation number W911N2-10-R-0029, with Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training & Support, 12506 Lake Underhill Rd., Orlando, FL 32825, (407) 306-4576. The solicitation will be released O/A 8 March 2010 and close O/A 12 March 2010. CBDNet Numbered Note 22 applies.
