- This notice is provided for informational purposes only. This opportunity is available only to contractors holding a General Services Administration (GSA) Nationwide Building Information Modeling (BIM) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The GSA Great Lakes Region, utilizing funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, is planning to request a price quotation from a Nationwide BIM IDIQ holder in accordance with the procedures set forth in the Nationwide BIM IDIQ for the provision of BIM Services for the Chicago Federal Campus. The purpose of this project is to establish consistent BIM standards for the GSA Greatlakes Region. The contractor shall develop BIM standards for Revit, NavisWorks, Truview and Point Could data sets. The standards developed shall provide laser scan, NavisWorks, Revit and BIM data to serve as a baseline for on-going planning for renovations of plaza, plaza sub-levels, buildings and BIM advances, and shall review BIM models for Chicago Federal Center (CFC). The contractor shall indentify all discrepancies and inconsistencies in a report format and recommend the most appropriate methods to ensure consistency. An award will be made in accordance with the IDIQ ordering procedures, which entails selection based on qualifications and subsequent negotiation of a fair and reasonable price with the best-qualified IDIQ holder.
