- The proposed procurement is 100% set aside for small business with a NAICS Code of 561730 and with a small business size standard not to exceed an average annual receipt for the preceding three fiscal years of $7 Million, including world wide affiliates. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers require the contractor to supply all necessary tools, equipment, labor, materials and supplies required to keep the grounds, landscaping and shrubbery in a neat and orderly appearance at the public use facilities and administrative facilities of the United States Government at Jennings Randolph Lake in accordance with the scope of work outlined in the solicitation. The place of performance is Jennings Randolph Lake, WV. The work shall commence on or about April 1, 2010. The period of performance includes a base year with four option years. For the benefit of prospective bidders, a site inspection is highly recommended. Contact Karl Hakala at 304-355-2346 to coordinate site visits. All questions shall be submitted via e-mail to linda.evans@usace.army.mil. Bids can only be submitted via e-mail or mail to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, Simplified Acquisition Team, Attn: Linda Evans, 10 South Howard Street, 7th Floor, Room 7000, Baltimore, MD 21201-2530. The solicitation will be available at the close of business o/a 3/17/2010 to interested vendors. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Solicitation will be available through download from Federal Business Opportunity (fbo.gov). You must be CCR (http://www.ccr.gov) registered to access or create an account through Federal Business Opportunity. If you do not have an account with Federal Business Opportunity, you will be locked out from obtaining a hard copy of the solicitation.
