- This is an amendment to the current Special Notice originally posted on February 26, 2010. Changes are as follows: Change in Acquisition Strategy. The proposed procurement previously listed as an extension for contract W9124L-04-C-0005, (Logistics Support Services), for a period of performance beginning 1 April 2010 30 September 2010, has been amended to a Presolicitation Notice for an interim bridge contract with a period of performance of 1 April 2010 through 31 July 2010. This will be unrestricted sole source procurement. The bridge contract will be issued to the current contractor, World Technical Services, Inc., PO box 33069 Fort Sill, Oklahoma 73503. Negotiations for this contract will be with the current contractor. The four (4) month bridge contract will be performed under the same terms and conditions of the existing contract. The contract type is cost-plus-award-fee (CPAF) contract. This bridge contract will provide uninterrupted services to the Fort Sill Installation pending award of a competitive 8(a) follow-on contract. This action is accomplished under authority cited in 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and there would be unacceptable delays in fulfilling mission requirements. World Technical Services currently has resources in place. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code remains 561210.
