- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): Russell Construction Co. Inc., W52H09-08-D-5005-0021 This notice is to award a firm fixed price modification under W52H09-08-D-5005-0021 which was awarded to Russell Construction Co. Inc. of Davenport, IA on June 8, 2009. This modification funds Option 3 of the Scope of Work to replace the exterior walkway and supporting brackets on the upstream side of the old section of Hydro-Electric Plant, Building 160. The overall project consists of the removal of the existing concrete duct bank from the south face of the old section of Hydro-Electric Plant, Building 160, removal of duct bank supports, and repair of the face brick behind the duct bank. In addition, all exposed masonry will be cleaned and a temporary walkway will be fastened to the building. This firm fixed price task order was awarded under Contract W52H09-08-D-5005 which was awarded under full and open competition using best value source selection procedures to Russell Construction Co. Inc. of Davenport, Iowa on August 21, 2008. The design build and construction services awarded under this contract include the type of work designated in this synopsis.
