- Description
- NASA/KSC has a requirement for a Teraohmmeter Bench Unit. NASA/KSC intends topurchase these services from, Guideline Instruments, LTD. The Teraohmmeter Bench Unit can only be satisfied by the unique supplies available fromGuideline Instrument, LTD. In the NASA lab there exist many highly complex automated andmanual procedures which have been designed around a similar earlier Guidline Teraohmmetermodel.Compatibility is of paramount importance and cannot readily be achieved withsubstitute equipment. The items that need to be procured are as follows:1.(1)Teraohmmeter Bench Unit includes certificate of Calibration; 2. (1) Report ofCalibration includes all data - Model 6250 Digital Programmable Teraohmmeter; 3.(1)Sheilded Enclosure; 4.(1) Sheilded Sample Enclosure; 5.(1) Zero Link; 6. (1) ConnectorLead; Set 7. (1) Calibration Kit; 8. (1) interface Cable; 9. (1)100M Resistance Standard;10. (1) 10T Resistance Standard.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon March 30, 2010. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
