- The purpose of this amendment is to conduct another open season for this BAA and to change the point of contact from Jennifer Rockefeller to Rachael Houle. Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the US Army Armament Research Developmentand Engineering Center (ARDEC), Business Interface Office (EIB). Proposals are sought from educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and commercial organizations. The requirement is for new materials, new and novel manufacturing & processing technology, advancements in modeling and simulation,advanced design methodologies, and new technologies for sustainment, systems health monitoring, and supply chain management in support of the ammunition and associated systems. Additionally, efforts that internalize manufacturing science in an Integrated Data Environment (IDE) to address any of the above areas of interest are strongly encouraged. The submission dates are as follows:White Paper Due Date: April 7, 2010ARDEC Response to White Papers:April 21, 2010Proposal Due Date: May 19, 2010 This BAA will be a continuously open announcement valid throughout the periodfrom the date of issuance through April 2011, unless announced otherwise.Award instruments will be FAR based contracts.
