NAICS Code : 518 Data processing, Hosting and Related Services/518210 - Data Processing, hosting and Related Services Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items under authority of FAR Parts 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Formerly advertised as RFI number QTA009BRA0015. The U. S. General Service Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Information Technology Services (ITS), Office of Acquisition Operations (QTA) is seeking a contractor to provide DOTGOV domain name registration services through a secure website. Potential offerors are encouraged to offer creative, innovative solutions that deliver the required functionality of the current DOTGOV system. The successful offeror's application must be fully tested and approved by the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process not later than 90 days after submitting initial draft documentation, resulting in a seamless transition between the current contractor and any resultant award. The current contractor will remain fully operational until the transition phase is completed. Transition costs will be solicited and reimbursed by the government, and these costs will be included as part of the pricing evaluation. GSA intends to issue a no cost contract to the successful offeror for this effort. Fees, as stated in the awarded contract, for services rendered shall be collected by the contractor from government agencies for new and annual renewal domain registration services. An award will be made to the offerors whose response represents the best value to the government. The government intends to make a single contract award for the solicitation but reserves the right to make as many awards as determined appropriate.
