- Description
- The Wilmington VAMC needs to provide safe alternatives to manual lifting and movement of patients as part of an overall injury prevention program. Ceiling lifts will reduce Workmen's compensation costs and improve staff and patient satisfaction scores. The Wilmington VA Medical Center, located in Wilmington, Delaware has a requirement for ten(10) room covering Lift for Single Patient Rooms (3 Meter x 3 Meter) with a rail with wall mount and 18 disposable boxes (10 pieces to a box) of UNI-D M/l Slings and 18 disposable boxes (10 pieces to a box)of UNI-D L/XL Slings. Each of the above-mentioned room-covering systems whill have a capacity hoist of 770 pounds. The method of installation should be wall-bracket. The price should include the lift equipment, installation, shipping, and initial staff training in use of the lift. Price should be based on a routine installation. This is restricted 100% for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 423450 and the small business standard is 100 employees. Vendors should be listed in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) site. Solicitations are due by 2:00 PM eastern standard time on March 23, 2010. Please contact Irene J.
