- The 96 Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for a satellite simulator system to ViaSat Inc of Carlsbad, CA 92009 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Anticipated award date is 26 March 2010. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: SATELLITE SIMULATOR (SATSIM). TS-4528A/U MULTI-CHANNEL DOCCT/S SYSTEM. FOUR CHANNEL, WITH OEB, FIELD/FLIGHT LOCAL RF. INCLUDES REDUNDANT POWER SUPPLY, INTEGRATED WAVEFORM (IW) CHANNEL CONTROL CAPABILITY AND TRAINING. P/N: VA-017000-0032 NOTE: A SINGLE TRAINING CLASS IS INCLUDED AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE, IF SCHEDULED WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF DELIVERY. These items must be delivered to: 46 RANSS/TSRML-F1T0CY, EGLIN AFB, FL 32542 no later than 8 months after receipt of order on an FOB Destination basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 517410, small business size standard: $15.0M. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received within 5 days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
