- Description
- The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement for the cutting of road side vegetation on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Mt Adams Ranger District. Work consists of cutting road side vegetation with a tractor mounted rotary brush cutter. Minor amounts of hand cutting may be required. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to perform all work in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Government. This acquisition will be set-aside for small businesses. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation is anticipated to be issued March 24, 2010. The Request for Quote package may be obtained by sending a request to one of the points of contact listed below.
