- This announcement is a notice of intent. The Government intends to enter into a non-competitive 2-month interim contract, under NAICS code 561720, with the incumbent contractor, American Facility Services, Inc, 1325 Union Hill Industrial CT. STE A, Alpharetta, GA 30004-5693, for the period of 1 Apr 31 May 2010. The incumbent is a SB company under the applicable NAICS code. Due to unexpected delays in the reviewing process for the follow-on contract under solicitation number W91151-09-R-0003. Initiating a separate competitive action for a 2-month interim contract is not cost effective or efficient. Time does not permit a phase-in period, therefore, there's not a reasonable expectation a new contractor will successfully perform without critical delays and/or interruption of service. The Interim contract action is for providing personnel management, and any other items and services, not Government furnished, necessary to perform the installation custodial service in accordance with the terms and conditions of the current contract W91151-04-D-0013. This procurement is a small business 100% set-aside. The resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed-Price contract period of performance 1 Apr 31 May 2010. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561720 Janitorial services and the Small Business Size Standard is $16.5M.
