- RECOVERY - TAS::14 1610::TAS:ARRA Project #LXHAB0980000Green River Riparian - Cottonwood RestorationPurchase and Plant Cottonwood Trees, 234 each RECOVERY - THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS BEING OFFERED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA). THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS ASIDE. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Green River, Wyoming, has a requirement for a commercial item. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice). This posting will be referred to under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number 65521RQ067. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-38, effective December 10, 2009. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 113210 with a business size standard of $7.0 million. This requirement is a Total Set-Aside for Small Business. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. FWS' salient characteristics that will satisfy the Government's needs for its requirement for COTTONWOOD TREES is: LINE ITEM 0001: PURCHASE ADN PLANT NARROWLEAF COTTONWOOD TREES Narrowleaf Cottonwood (Populus angustifolia)2.00-2.75" diameter, 20 gallon container approx. 12-14 ft tall, price to include Trucking and Delivery of trees *QUANTITY REQUIRED 234 EACH @ _______________________PER TREE = $___________________________ LINE ITEM 0002: PLANTING PLANT MATERIAL (NARROWLEAF COTTONWOOD TREES) INCLUDING LABORMachine planted using a tracked Bobcat with auger, back filled and tamped. Site cleanup included. *QUANTITY REQUIRED 234 EACH @ _______________________PER TREE = $___________________________ LINE ITEM 0003: FIVE (5) FT. ARRA Requirement: The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Funds under the awarded contract.
