- The Louis A. Johnson Healthcare System's intent is to solicit for required Community Based Healthcare for Homeless Veterans services. These services are to provide to the Veteran's Administration (VA), community based residential care, treatment and rehabilitative services for chronically mentally ill veterans, with particular focus on those who are homeless. Prior to the award of any contract a multidisciplinary VA team shall conduct a survey of the residential treatment/community health care centers.The projected base period is projected for June 1st 2010 through September 30 2010. The NAICS code for this procurement is 623220. Evaluation factors will be based on Standards and Licenses, Level of Care, Cost and Dietetic Services. The relative importance of each factor is descending order of precedence. The contract type will be a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract. The solicitation will be unrestricted available on or about March 29th, 2010 and will be distributed through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed through this website. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database through the website www.ccr.gov.
