- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) ACTION. Saffel Canyon Trail System. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This opportunity was available only to contractors under firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts established by the US Forest Service. Multiple awards of IDIQ contracts were made under a single competitive solicitation for the same or similar supplies or services to two or more sources. The project is for produce and stockpile material consisting of 8400 tons of 1 ½” minus and 600 tons of ¾” minus crushed rock. The project location is the Hall’s Pit, Saffel Canyon Trail System, located in Springerville, Arizona. Four IDIQ contract holders in the immediate area were evaluated. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded to the IDIQ contractor which provided the best value to the Government based on past performance, and price.
