- The estimated solicitation publication date is changed to March 19, 2010. In accordance with Section 107 of Public Law 110-387, the Denver Acquisition and Logistics Center (DALC) intends to solicit for the acquisition of rural mental health services within targeted areas of VISNs 1 (New England Healthcare System), 19 (Rocky Mountain Network) and 20 (Northwest Network), for eligible OEF/OIF Veterans who are enrolled in the Veterans Health Administration and who reside in rural areas and do not have ready access to mental health services through VA Medical Centers and Clinics, or Vet Centers. Contracted outpatient services will be provided at the contractor's facilities/locations. Services are expected to include peer outreach and peer support services to Veterans by Veterans, outpatient mental health services and readjustment counseling services (as described in Section 1712A of Title 38, United States Code), and mental health day treatment services. The electronic solicitation is expected to be released on February 26, 2010. The procurement is being issued under full and open competition procedures. Single or multiple awards may result from this solicitation.
