SIR Description: This is a small business set-asideThe Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area, Los Angeles, CA is seeking competent and qualified HVAC contractors interested in providing offers for the work associated with the HVAC Replacement Project for the Stockton Metropolitan Airport Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) located at 7434 S. Lindberg Street, Stockton, CA 95206. Work includes but is not necessarily limited to furnishing and installing: R-22 refrigerant recoveryDemolition of the existing four zone multi-zone air conditioning systemTwo new 24,000 btuh split system, with electric heatOne new 48,000 btuh split system, with electric heatOne new 120,000 btuh split system, with electric heatDuct, grilles and registersFour thru the wall air conditioning unitsFour wall mounted electric heatersAir conditioning controlsTwo new power panlesElectrical feedersAir balanceDrywall, texture, and paintRefrigeration reportNew equipment one year warranty All work must be performed in strict accordance with the project specifications and drawings. Upon completion, the new air conditioning equipment specified herein or shown on the drawings must be complete, functional, and ready for use by the FAA.The contractor must perform work equivalent to at least 25% of the total amount of work under the contract on site using their own organization. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to the low priced technically acceptable offeror. Contract award will be based on past performance. The contractor must have successfully completed similar projects both in dollar and scope. Contractors must have an active registration in the CCR before contract award can be made. Contractors can register at: www.ccr.gov The work will be performed in strict accordance with the specifications and contract provisions under the subject contract. Award of a firm-fixed-price contract is being contemplated to a responsible offeror who submits the responsive offer to this requirement.
