- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT Recovery - Lower Johnson Creek Bridge Removal and Davis Creek Bridge Replacement The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-0489-S-10-0395 on or about March 30, 2010 for the Recovery - Lower Johnson Creek Bridge Removal and Davis Creek Bridge Replacement in SW Washington, Gifford Pincho NF. If the solicitation is released it will be released through this FedBizOps website and prospective bidder should visit this FedBizOps website from time to time on or around March 30, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. However the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. Project Description. The US Forest service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement for the removal of Lower Johnson Creek Bridge plus refurbishment of the project site and the installation of Davis Creek Bridge, which will require removal of existing bridge and the installation of a Government Furnished prefabricated bridge. The contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and material, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and all incidentals except those items listed as Government Furnished Property needed to perform the following: Lower Johnson Creek Bridge Removal and Davis Creek Bridge Replacement The Government intends to award a negotiated Firm Fixed Price contract. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. Project Location - two sites Site One - Lower Johnson Creek Bridge, FR 2115, GP NF, Cowlitz Valley Ranger District Site Two - Davis Creek Bridge, FR 63, GP NF, Cowlitz Valley Ranger District Both sites are in SW Washington Participation - This project is set aside under the Small Business Demonstration Program. The NAICS Code for this project is 237310. The size standard is $33.5M. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The Solicitation with specification and Davis Bacon Act Wage Rates will be posted to the FedBizOps website, www.fbo.gov. Registrations.
