- STATUS OF EAGLE II SMALL BUSINESS REQUIREMENT AS OF MARCH 16, 2010: The Department of Homeland Security, Office of the Chief Procurement Officer, Office of Procurement Operations has announced EAGLE II Pre-Solicitation Conferences on March 29 and 30, 2010 with the intent of issuing draft solicitations prior to the Conferences. The EAGLE II program is receiving significant and beneficial input from the DHS user community. As a result, the draft solicitations will not be issued until late April 2010. However, we will proceed with the EAGLE II Pre-Solicitation Conferences as planned. The Conferences will be similar in content to the previous electronic live meetings and will share the program overview, the small business program perspective, as well as the anticipated program refinements. Sections of the solicitations such as the functional category definitions and the evaluation criteria will not be available until the release of the draft Requests for Proposals. We look forward to seeing you at the EAGLE II Small Business Pre-Solicitation Conference on March 29, 2010 and the EAGLE II Unrestricted Pre-Solicitation Conference on March 30, 2010. Please note that the Conferences are filled to capacity; hence, no new registrations will be accepted. Both Pre-Solicitation Conferences will be recorded and the recordings will be available for those unable to attend.
