- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. This project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and requirements of the Act are included in the contract. The USDA Forest Service, Malheur National Forest has a requirement to replace existing and/or install new internal wiring with Cat 6 wiring system for several federal buildings. Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment and labor necessary to supply and install all Cat 6 components and accessories or appurtenances as well as conduct wiring testing to assure a fully operational fiber cabling system for network voice and data. Contractor shall be responsible for moving office furniture/equipment for accessing existing wiring system, removal of existing intra-building wiring and accessories, install wall or floor cover plates where drops will not be reinstalled, etc. Incidentals include but not limited to installation documentation report, relocation of phone, power and fiber optic terminations, installation of new phone demark and CAT 6 house blocks to patch panels and all required testing. Bonding is required. Project is estimated at $100,000 - $250,000. This project falls under the Competitive Demonstration Authority and is set-aside for HubZone.
