- RECOVERY-National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center (NHOTIC) Trail Overlay. This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA).The work consists of placing a 2 inch, compacted thickness, asphalt overlay on specified existing asphalt trails which includes but is not limited to the following: 1) Clearing and grubbing within shoulder area with protection of designated existing plant materials, structures, and avoidance areas; 2) Cleaning all of the existing asphalt surfaces and cracks; 3) applying 2 inch compacted asphalt overlay on an estimated 14,000 linear feet of existing paved trails; 4) Crack sealing on existing paved trails; and 5) Placing an estimated 325 tons of shoulder aggregate along paved trails and shape. Project price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS: 238990. The project site is located in the Baker County, Baker Resource Area, Vale District, Oregon. Estimated start work date is August 16, 2010, and performance time is 15 calendar days. Bonds are required: Bid Guarantee: 20%; Performance Bond: 100%; and Payment Bond: 100%. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.FedConnect.net. Estimated issue date is March 31, 2010. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract.
