- Description
- The Defense Energy Support Center (DESC), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), intends to procure on a Full and Open Competitive basis, the production and distribution of bulk Gaseous Hydrogen (GH2), IAW Performance Specification, Propellant, Hydrogen, MIL-PRF-27201D, dated 07 February 2007, Type I - Gaseous, minimum 99.995% purity. DESC requires the offeror to provide all production, materials, supplies, management, tools, equipment and labor necessary for the manufacture of GH2. One or more Fixed Price Requirements-Type contract(s) is anticipated. GH2 for Arnold AFB, TN, Estimated 3-yr quantity 261 MC (87 MC each period) and Blue Origin, Kent, WA, Estimated 2-yr quantity 100 MC (20 MC each period), NSN 9135-00-823-8133. The contract ordering period will be from 01 Sep 2010 through 30 Aug 2012, for Blue Origin, Kent, WA and 01 Oct 2010 through 30 Sep 2013 for Arnold AFB, TN. The anticipated award date will be 02 Aug 2010. The solicitation will be issued on or about 31 Mar 2010 and will be posted to the FedBizOpps web page (http://www.fbo.gov/). A hard copy of the solicitation may be requested; however, only written, e-mailed or faxed requests for solicitation received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
