- Offerors are hereby invited to review and respond to this Request for Offer - SIR. The anticipated contract is a 100% small business set-aside. Thus, only small business concerns can submit a proposal in response to the SIR. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) contemplates award of an Cost Plus Fixed-Fee type contract to purchase provide support regarding development, testing, and documentation of a National Airspace System (NAS) fast-time simulation. The contractor must provide these services and support to the FAA Office of NextGen Systems Analysis (AJP-D) located at FAA headquarters in Washington DC. This award will be made in accordance with the FAA's Acquisition Management System (AMS). The method of procurement will be a 100% set aside for small business concerns. The period of performance of the contract will be five (5) years should all option be exercised by the Government. The Base period will be twelve (12) months, and is followed by four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The total estimated potential contract value is $9.7 million. Interested offerors should submit questions to the Contracting Officer, Linwood Gillette at linwood.gillette@faa.gov or to the Contract Specialist, Stephanie Cooke at stephanie.cooke@faa.gov by 12:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time on March 23, 2010. Offerors should submit all volumes in response to the solicitation by no later than12:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time on April 9, 2010. Please be advised that the FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparation or submittal of responses to this screening information request/request for offer.
